Studio Layout

The studio is located in the Ford Building in industrial SE Portland.  The Ford (as in Henry) did not get it’s name by accident, it is the former home of an automobile factory!  This means big loading dock, big freight elevator, and plenty of very thick concrete.  Our studio is  2000 very versatile square feet, with 20 foot ceilings, a 10×30 foot bank of North facing windows, and a 22′x15′ compound cyclorama.  Directly over the main shooting space (right in front of the cyc) is a permanently installed 20×20 overhead.  Each of the four corners can be dropped or raised depending on the angle desired.  Currently we have three fabric choices for the overhead, black, white or full diffusion.  Click on the image below for a full-size image of the floor plan.
