Important: Essential shopping and privacy-choice storage supports the Website. Non-essential tracking requires a valid consent or other legal basis before use; you can refuse or change optional preferences through the privacy controls. |

1. Introduction & scope
1.1 This Cookie Policy describes cookies, browser storage and similar technologies used when you browse Profile Studio, review artwork, register, submit a creative brief or proceed through checkout. Profile Studio is operated by DIGIMACIS LTD. This notice supplements the Privacy Policy and should be read with the Website's preference interface. It applies to visitors whether or not they create an Account.
1.2 Some storage is essential to operate the storefront; other technologies are used for remembering preferences, understanding site usage, campaign attribution or advertising. Different technologies can have different legal bases and controls. We explain these distinctions so you can make informed choices before optional tracking is used and revisit those choices as your circumstances change.
2. What cookies & similar technologies are
2.1 A cookie is a small file stored by a browser that may recognise a session, preserve a choice or connect pages of a visit. Equivalent mechanisms include local storage, session storage, pixels, embedded scripts and server-side identifiers. A cookie name is not itself proof that advertising or analytics has occurred; its code, purposes, recipients and timing determine how it should be treated.
2.2 Some cookies expire at the end of a browser session, while others persist for a stated period or until manually deleted. Storage that enables a basket, checkout or fraud-prevention service can be different from storage used for traffic statistics or retargeting. You can inspect and delete cookies through your browser, but changing settings may affect saved login or order-state functionality.
3. Why we use cookies
3.1 Essential storage supports features that a customer requests: session continuity, Account login, cart updates, checkout processing, security and recording the privacy choices submitted through the consent interface. Without it, the Website may not reliably keep selected avatar sizes, remember that the customer has logged in or deliver order details to the right session.
3.2 Other technologies may support layout preferences, examination of aggregate site performance, attribution of how a visitor reached an order and suitable advertisements. Such uses are separated from core service performance. We use applicable consent or a narrowly available statutory exception for each purpose, and we do not treat general interest in business analytics as permission to deploy any advertising identifier automatically.
4. Cookie categories
4.1 The categories below reflect the visitor controls presented by the Website: necessary, functional, analytics, performance and advertisement. Necessary technology is confined to what is genuinely required for the requested service or a permitted communication-security function. Functional technology remembers optional non-essential settings; analytics and performance evaluate site activity; advertisement technology may support cross-site promotion.
4.2 Some statistical or appearance functions may qualify for limited UK statutory exceptions if their use is solely within the permitted purpose, visitors receive clear information and an easy means of objecting. An identifier used for multiple purposes must satisfy the rules for every purpose; an advertising or profiling function cannot inherit a pure-statistics exception merely because statistics are also produced.

5. Lawful basis & consent
5.1 Profile Studio asks for permission before using non-essential storage that requires it. A consent interface offers choices such as Reject All, Accept All and Customise, and allows category-by-category preferences. Consent is not valid merely because a person continues browsing. Where you refuse optional storage, essential functions should remain available to the extent technically possible, including the ability to buy a downloadable avatar.
5.2 A valid legal exception, rather than consent, may cover strictly necessary technology and certain narrowly restricted statistical or appearance tools, subject to notice and easy objection obligations. Personal-data processing linked to those tools also requires a UK GDPR lawful basis. You can change optional settings later via the Website's consent controls and you may use device-level controls; withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
6. Cookie inventory & example technology
6.1 The inventory below identifies cookie names and browser storage associated with the Profile Studio commerce and consent stack, including consent preference, shopping/history and source-attribution functionality. A technology may be present only after a corresponding feature or choice is activated. Duration is determined by the Website's configured lifetime or the end of the browser session, and certain storage is cleared if you remove site data.
6.2 Source-attribution names beginning `sbjs_` may hold landing-page and visit information. They must not be repurposed for prohibited advertising or disclosed across providers without the applicable permission. The cart-hash local-storage key is used for shopping state rather than a cash balance. Cookie categories, names and providers are reviewed against the running Website configuration, not inferred solely from a historic software inventory.

7. Third-party cookies & embedded services
7.1 Checkout services, embedded media, anti-fraud systems or advertising tools can receive browser information under their own technical and privacy conditions. A payment screen may deploy security storage essential to the specific authentication requested, while an embedded video or advertising panel may require additional permission before it loads. A third-party supplier's claim that its code is essential is assessed against the actual purpose rather than accepted at face value.
7.2 We aim to configure optional features so they do not activate before the relevant permission, and to limit supplier access to appropriate data. Please review the separate privacy information linked by a third-party experience where available. Information shared with a checkout provider to complete a paid transaction is also explained in the Privacy Policy and Payment Policy; card authentication does not automatically authorise unrelated advertising tracking.
8. Managing preferences
8.1 The consent interface lets you accept or reject optional categories and save more granular choices. If a preference control is unavailable, contact info@profile-studio.com and use your browser's cookie-deletion or site-permission controls. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies, clear existing Website data and configure whether local storage persists between sessions.
8.2 Blocking core account/session storage may require you to sign in again, clear your cart or repeat a currency choice. Rejecting analytical or advertising categories should not, by itself, prevent browsing the catalog or viewing publicly accessible policy documents. Where a qualifying statistical or appearance exception is relied upon, a simple objection mechanism must be available and honoured independently of other optional marketing choices.
9. Retention & review
9.1 A session identifier is normally removed or invalidated when the session ends; a persistent preference or attribution record is retained only within the configured and necessary period for its stated purpose. Consent choice storage lasts until the configured expiry or until replaced by a new preference. Data collected through a cookie may have a different, limited server-side retention schedule described in the Privacy Policy.
9.2 We review cookie purpose, duration, classification, recipients and related scripts whenever the Website's payment, commerce, analytics or consent tools change, and periodically even where no product change is planned. If new advertising purposes are introduced, a revised policy alone does not authorise them: the applicable fresh consent must be obtained before deployment.
10. Do-Not-Track & browser signals
10.1 Some browsers transmit a Do-Not-Track preference or comparable signal. Because browser signals differ in technical meaning and legal status, a general Do-Not-Track header does not necessarily operate as a category-specific consent record. You should use Profile Studio's preference controls to express choices that can be applied reliably to the Website's optional features.
10.2 Where applicable law requires a particular recognised objection or opt-out signal to be honoured, we assess and implement it accordingly. Blocking individual scripts through browser extensions may interfere with login, product variation selectors or the consent interface itself. If that occurs, contact support without disclosing your passwords or full card credentials and ask for an accessible alternative route.
11. Children & age
11.1 Profile Studio is designed for adults aged at least 18, and our service is not intended to build advertising profiles of children. Parents or guardians who believe a child's device or Account information has been collected through this Website may contact info@profile-studio.com to request an appropriate review. We verify the authority of any person requesting access to another user's data.
11.2 Optional advertising or profiling controls must not be weakened because a visitor says they have no account. Where information indicates a prohibited minor account, access may be restricted and data handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law. The age position does not remove rights under privacy or consumer legislation applicable to younger individuals.
12. International data flows
12.1 Internet infrastructure can route browser requests through hosting, security and checkout providers located outside the United Kingdom. Where storage-derived identifiers are linked to personal data and transferred under our responsibility, applicable UK GDPR rules, including valid safeguards for restricted international transfers, apply independently of whether the storage itself is authorised under PECR.
12.2 Our selection of a technology provider does not transfer the user's entire browsing history to that provider by default. Access should be limited to the service concerned. International payment networks may act as separate data controllers under their own notices; details about merchant-controlled recipients, legal bases and data rights are addressed by the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes
13.1 New features, altered consent settings, customer-analytics tools or revised law may require this inventory and notice to change. We update the effective-date/version information, preserve accessible notices and renew consent where a change adds a purpose that previously lacked authorisation. The active browser interface, rather than a paper explanation alone, must be configured to enforce the choices that the updated policy describes.
13.2 Cookie removal may mean you see a consent panel again. An updated description does not restore permission previously refused, and an earlier acceptance does not permit an unrelated new purpose. If a visitor has questions about the technology actually encountered, they may send the cookie name and browser/device information to support, without submitting unrelated private data.
14. Contact
14.1 Questions about Website storage or consent preferences may be addressed to DIGIMACIS LTD, trading as Profile Studio, at info@profile-studio.com or 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Include the cookie name, approximate time and affected page if these details help identify an issue. We do not need card credentials to troubleshoot a cookie preference.
14.2 The applicable cookie and data-protection obligations are governed by the law of England and Wales, including UK privacy requirements, without limiting any mandatory protections of visitors in other jurisdictions. Data subject rights, erasure and marketing objections are explained more fully in the Privacy Policy. Card authorisation inquiries and missing digital-file access issues belong to the Payment Policy and Digital Product Fulfilment Policy. You remain entitled to raise a concern with an applicable data-protection regulator where the law provides that right.
Operational Maintenance Checklist
The Website's technology list is reviewed when a new plugin, payment gateway, analytics script, advertising tag or external embed is introduced. For each technology, the review records the actual name, duration, provider, purpose, data-sharing recipients, relevant exemption or consent status and the control used to withdraw or object. A change is not made available to visitors until its permission logic has been checked.
At regular intervals, a fresh browser profile is used to inspect storage before choice, after Reject All, after granular selections and after Accept All. Cart/login flows are tested separately so essential operational storage remains functional. Where a purportedly exempt statistics tool also supports advertising, the exception is reassessed and consent is required for the non-exempt use.
Visitors may request an explanation or correction of an inventory entry by emailing info@profile-studio.com. If a name or supplier has been reconfigured, the online inventory is corrected and the appropriate consent/objection path is revised. These maintenance practices support the enforceable choices set out above and do not limit the user's statutory rights.
